Suspended and being forced out of work 1 Month ago
Hi, this is quite a long story so I will try and break it down.
Last year my MD was bullying the managers and as a result I handed in my notice, but eventually stayed.
I then presented some business plans which were blocked by him.
There have been various meetings over the last year, all quiet threatening, and he even sent an apology email after 1 meeting due to him calling everyone "C@@@@" and threatening to go through the office with a dose of salt.
I did record one of his sales floor rants on my mobile.
Recently I changed cost centres which means that I lost all my renewable business and had to build up a new pipeline. As a result after 2 months I hadnt hit my target (There were also another 20 odd that didnt). I was put on a verbal warning, but I appealed and won on the grounds that I was being treated inconsistently.
I was put forward for another job within another side of the business by my md, which meant I wouldnt remain under his control but I didnt get it. During the interview I said "off the record" in his words, that I was looking elsewhere and stated where.

HR pulled me into a quick meeting the next week and said we know you are looking and where you are with the interview stages, and asked me what I had lined up so I told them.

She then offered me gardening leave if I resigned straight away, which I declined as I wasnt definetly leaving. This was last week.

Yesterday I was suspended, as I was told there were rumours that I had been to an interview yesterday morning, as I had a meeting and was late into work. I am on full pay while they investigate. I came away from the meeting with 2 quotes......

Where do I stand legally? Its like my MD is trying to force me from the company, and im confident that my Head office doesnt know.

Any advice is much appreciated. Sorry if any of this is vague.
